Yes, it is! It's perched on our fence right outside my bedroom window. It was in the yard yesterday and has been running up and down the road alot lately. BTW, the roadrunner is NM's state bird.
I'm so glad someone knew what it was, that was going to be my question. I have never seen one aside from the cartoon character. Very interesting looking bird. I'll have to show my children this! Thanks for sharing and have a great WW!

Very cool! When I was young and lived in So California for a bit (not near the beach), our school mascot was the roadrunner. They are sooooo neat. :o)
