Altamira Cave Art

Here is a picture of Ben’s
Cave Art.  We studied href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Altamira_(cave)">Altamira Cave Art in
Art Appreciation this week.  The cave
paintings of Altamira are located in Northern Spain and are thought to be
between 10,000 and 20,000 years old. 
They are known as the “Sistine Chapel of Paleolithic Art.”style="mso-spacerun: yes"> 
They are thought to be of the href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magdalenean">Magdalenian culture.
